You really want to know about me?
I’m a professional software tester, frustrated pianist, and reformed pessimist.
I like apples with a leaf on the stalk, freshly washed strawberries, warm samosas on a Thursday morning, expired film, The Yardbirds, The Small Faces, The Who, The Kinks, sunny Monday mornings with no traffic holdups, Friday afternoons, milky tea, my chilli plant, Ainsley Harriott cup soups, masala tea, Oreos, waking in Venice to the sound of church bells, the scent of jasmine on a warm Italian breeze, Tunnocks Teacakes, thin cut marmalade, egg butties with white pepper, fish and chips, Upstairs Downstairs, shiny shoes, stripy shirts, and bananas.
Here’s what Jane Austen might have thought of me.
This blog
This is my personal blog, where I’m trying to learn total flexibility, and write freely about everything that interests me.
I don’t really have a posting schedule. I try to update two or three times a week, but sometimes go a week, or even two without posting, so don’t panic.
If you want technical details, it’s hosted by WordPress.com, and uses the Sandbox 1.6.1 theme tweaked with my own hand-crafted custom CSS. The graphics were created with Photoshop, and the photos were all taken by myself.

I’m only active on a handful of social networks. I enjoy the ones I do participate in, and feel I’d be spreading myself too thinly if I tried to do more. Feel free to connect with me on:
